Globacom on Saturday night time splashed thousands of naira on its long-serving workers at a lavish appreciation celebration held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The celebration which was themed, “Twenty and Unlimited”, was held as half of Globacom’s twentieth Anniversary celebration
The. enterprise rewarded a total of 89 staff members who had worked for it for twenty years with a number of thousands of Naira each.
Speaking at the party, the Executive Vice Chairman of Globacom, Mrs. Bella Disu, famous that the Board and Management of the enterprise were happy with the awardees for their contributions to the growth of the business in the final 20 years. The party, she said, was organized to reward them and encourage them to maintain striving for higher excellence.
The five hundred high-octane celebration and night time of razzmatazz, tremendous dining and beautiful wining had in attendance five hundred members of staff from throughout the kingdom who thronged the venue in signature Glo colour-compliant dresses and costumes. The trio of Wande Coal, and Glo ambassadors Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka and Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe popularly identified as Kizz Daniel were in their element as they churned out stunning vibes that kept the viewers dancing all night time.
Also in attendance were the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke; Ovation Publisher, Dele Momodu; Nollywood stars, Ego Boyo, Ini Edo, Juliet Ibrahim, and Bolanle Ninalowo, as good as comedian Broda Shaggi, and style icon, Mai Atafo
Other. highlights of the evening were totally different different types of competitions for staff which also attracted five hundred handsome rewards from the enterprise. These included Mr. and Miss Glo pageants the place Ifoghale Ashaka emerged Mr. Glo with the duo of Hakeem Obayomi and Olalekan Agbaje coming behind him as first and second runners-up. While Mr. Glo received N2million, Hakeem and Olalekan went dwelling with N1million and N750, 000 respectively.
In the Miss Glo category, Gift Okafor was topped winner, taking dwelling N2 milion. Favour Akinbayo received N1million as first runner-up with a cash prize of N1million, while Faith Chika Obi got N750,000 as second runner-up. The Best dressed male and female also received N500,000 each
In. the dancing competition, Tegha Mobaghan received N500,000 in the female type with Abiola Agunbiade profitable the same volume in the male type. Chukwudi Okorie and Otesanya Adetayo were winners in the singing competition, taking dwelling N500,000 as good.
There was also food “quaffing” competition which attracted N500,000 to the winners in the male and female categories, while 20 early birds (first to arrive at the party) received N250,000 each, just as 50 Midnight Owls (last to leave) also got N500,000 each in the two gender different types.
