The main YouTube channel of Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations has been removed from the video sharing platform.
This comes after a platform, OpenDemocracy, identified and reported over 50 offensive videos of Joshua on video platforms that amplify his insults against his accusers.
Earlier this month, the BBC World Service, in collaboration with OpenDemocracy, published a three-part series in which whistleblowers, formerly senior members of the SCOAN, came forward with allegations of sexual and psychological torture, financial fraud and criminal negligence against Joshua. These videos were originally shot by the church’s Emanuel Television Media Department and featured some of the women involved in the investigative documentary.
YouTube, which has policies against cyberbullying and harassment and specifically prohibits harassment of survivors of sexual violence, said, “The reported channel was shut down for violating its hate speech policies.” This is his second of three done.
