Faithia Williams Balogun was born on February 5, 1969, in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. Fathia is from Urhobo, Eastern Ethiopia Local Government Area of ​​Delta State. He is a popular actor in Nollywood industry, especially Yoruba.

Fathia comes from a polygamous Catholic home and they are the ninth family. He grew up in Ikeja area of ​​Lagos where he attended Olufunmila Nursery School, after which he attended Maryland Primary School, Maryland, Lagos. He completed his secondary education at Maryland Comprehensive High School, Lagos. He went on to study at the Kwara State Polytechnic, Kwara, where he obtained a law degree.

Fathia is the general host at Chips Bit & Bit, an IT company located in Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos at the time, was earning N5,000 per month. He didn’t know if it was a coincidence or a coincidence! It started in the early 90s. Alhaji Fatai Teniola helped him enter the industry by casting him in movies. The Nollywood actor revealed that acting was never part of his dream, saying he wanted to become a broadcaster even though his father wanted him to be a banker. The actor said he could not achieve his dream because he could not pass the JAMB exam and because of his long stay at home, his father should give him the opportunity to do what he wants. He also revealed that he tried to go into law but was unable to do so because of the extra responsibilities given to law students in school. Speaking to the Nation newspaper, he said: “After I tried JAMB many times, because my maths was bad and I was staying at home for a long time, my father advised me to I did what I wanted.”
