Prophet Lincoln, a pastor from South Africa, was detained after stealing a car in Zimbabwe.
The priest, who gained notoriety on the internet among his devotees for ”foreseeing other countries” future events, allegedly conspired with two men to steal an automobile in Kuwadzana. With success, the three removed the car and parked it at one of their houses.
But the vehicle had a tracker, and it could be followed to the robbers’ home. The Prophet and his companions were apprehended by the authorities and forced to lie on the ground. They haplessly attempted to explain, only to get mercilessly pummeled by a tree limb.
Zimbabwean police confirmed his arrest in a statement.
“ZRP reports that lnnocent Chigwaza (40), Johannes Matema (28) and Lincoln Tichaona Fero (29) were arrested in connection with a case of theft of a motor vehicle which occurred in Kuwadzana 3 on 23/01/24 in which a Nissan Atlas motor vehicle was stolen. The stolen motor vehicle was tracked and recovered at the suspect’s place of residence.”
