Nigerian PhD student dies in UK

Chukwudi Ogbueche-Ifediora, a Nigerian physiotherapist and PhD candidate, passed away in the UK.

On Wednesday, January 24, 2024, his brother @DedeUmuahia made this revelation in response to news that Saheed Wahab, a fellow Nigerian, had passed within just 24 hours after coming to the UK to pursue postgraduate studies.

“It pains me to inform you that my brother, @IfedioraChuddy, is on this list. His body has not yet been returned to his own nation. Dede wrote, “If the country is good, tell me why we would have to go fend for ourselves in another man’s land?,” as my dad used to say.

The late Chukwudi was a PhD candidate at Glasgow Caledonian University at the time of his death.
