According to a story on Thursday, Jan. 25, porn star-turned-actress Jesse Jane and her lover were discovered dead from what appeared to be a heroin overdose.
According to TMZ, cops found the bodies of Brett Hasenmueller, 43, and Jane, 43, at a Moore, Oklahoma, house on Wednesday, January 24, while conducting a welfare check at the request of Hasenmueller’s supervisor.
The site stated that the fatalities appeared to be “drug-related,” but it was unknown how long the two had been dead.
Jane, originally Cindy Howell from Fort Worth, Texas, had appearances in over 100 pornographic films at the beginning of the new millennium before landing a job as a Playboy TV host.
She rose to prominence in the porn industry, hosting a number of award shows, including many times for the AVN Awards,
Outside of adult entertainment, Jesse made some appearances in mainstream films as well, including ‘Starsky & Hutch,’ a guest role on ‘Entourage,’ and even an appearance on ‘The Bad Girls Club.’ In 2009, she was part of a CNBC doc called ‘Porn: Business of Pleasure’ — which showed what her life was like behind the scenes, and away from cameras.
In 2018, she was arrested for public intoxication in Norma, Okla., and two years later, police busted her for allegedly biting and beating up her boyfriend during a night of heavy drinking in Moore.
She is survived by her one son.
