No fewer than ten maritime travellers are feared to have been abducted by sea pirates along the Bonny Port Harcourt waterway. The victims were said to have been travelling between Bonny and Port Harcourt when their boat was attacked by their abductors. Confirming the incident to Channels TV, the district Chairman of MARITIME Workers Union of Nigeria Rivers State district, Israel Pepple, said Its not a rumour, it is real. 10 persons have been kidnapped this morning coming from Bonny to Port Harcourt.
